  • Avoid unnecessary critical care admissions and facilitate escalation of care decisions.
  • Instigate critical care intervention at the patient’s bedside before appropriate admission to critical care.
  • Protected 20% non‑clinical time for advanced practice portfolio development, educational opportunities, service improvement and QI projects.
What we’re looking for
  • Ability to work autonomously, undertaking expanded roles.
  • Completed the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating advanced practice across the 4 pillars of advanced practice.
  • Completed National Outreach Forum Advanced Critical Care Outreach Competencies or speciality‑specific advanced capabilities.
  • Significant experience within the speciality.
  • Able to work internal rotation, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI‑generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
