Are you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner looking for a dynamic and rewarding role?

Base: Kings College Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre (Denmark Hill)

Salary: £45-£56 p/h (Outside IR35)

Hours: Flexible – Full-Time/Part-Time, including on-call shifts

Join SELDOC, a successful GP cooperative with over 25 years of service, delivering high-quality primary and urgent care to 2 million patients across South London.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. As an ACP, you will work autonomously and collaboratively across the UTC, Emergency Department, and wider hospital services, managing a diverse caseload of patients presenting with urgent and emergency needs.

You should be a registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC) with advanced clinical skills, able to assess, diagnose, and manage patients confidently while contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive history-taking, clinical examinations, and initial patient assessments in the UTC.
  • Diagnose and manage patients with undifferentiated illnesses and urgent and emergency conditions, including paediatrics.
  • Use advanced reasoning to create safe, patient-centred management plans with safety-netting advice.
  • Work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues across the Emergency Department and community care pathways.
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to guidelines, protocols, and service improvement.
Person Specification

Essential:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice (Level 7 or working towards).
  • Minimum 1-year ENP/ACP/NP experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in paediatrics, including children under 2 years.

Desirable:

  • Leadership or service improvement training.
  • Evidence of mentoring or teaching.
