About the Role:

The Mental Health team, located in Slough, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Adult Social Worker.. This role involves supporting adults with mental health issues, providing comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to promote mental well-being and recovery.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments of adults’ mental health needs and develop personalized care plans. You will provide information, advice, and support to adults and their families regarding mental health services and resources. Collaboration with healthcare professionals, mental health services, and other agencies to coordinate care and support is essential. You will advocate for the rights and needs of adults with mental health issues, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Regular monitoring and review of care plans will ensure they remain effective and relevant. Additionally, you will respond promptly and effectively to mental health crises, following relevant procedures and protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have SWE registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience in social work and hold a full UK driving licence.
