Job Title: Social Worker – Disabilities Team

Location: Wokingham

Rate: £38 per hour

An exciting job opportunity has recently become available in Wokingham. They are looking for a new member for their Disabilities Team to work within the Adult Social Care team (18+), undertaking direct work with customers who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, long-term conditions, and are elderly or frail.

What will your responsibilities be?

The main aim of the service is to enable individuals to live safely in the community, maximizing their abilities to care for themselves and supporting carers to continue in their caring roles as long as possible. Working in accordance with key legislative frameworks, the service will support individuals to access support services aligned with their needs, with a focus on health, safety, and wellbeing for vulnerable individuals.

• Diverse caseload
• Providing support to individuals with disabilities and long-term conditions
• Ensuring safety and wellbeing of clients

Qualifications and Experience:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Post-qualification experience in social work
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
