Job description

The Adult Services Transport team provides a high level of customer service to Adults' Health and Care by procuring safe, appropriate and value for money transport for their clients. This is achieved by providing a key front line customer interface for Adults' Health and Care social workers and innovative transport solutions to their clients.

• Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to manage the provision of transport required for individual passengers, responding to transport requests and 'on the ground' operational issues
• Procure and award all transport in line with the County Council's standing orders, ensuring value for money
• Record and respond to complaints and take necessary action to maintain and improve transport services
