Overview

A part time (22.5 hours) opportunity for a Receptionist to join our small, friendly front-of-house team based at Worsley Court, Selby, a child and adolescent community mental health unit. The post is to cover Monday to Friday between 12:30pm and 5:00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Greet service users, carers, staff and visitors and answer queries via telephone and email.
  • Remain calm and communicate clearly, promoting a positive culture for young people living with mental health issues and/or neurodiverse conditions.
  • Perform basic admin tasks: update calendars, maintain visitor logs, issue access cards, handle incoming & outgoing post and calls, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Ensure information in the reception area for staff and the public is clearly displayed and updated as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Friendly, customer-focused approach.
  • Reception duties experience or NHS experience not essential.
  • The ability to remain calm and communicate clearly is essential.
