Job description

This role is part of the Briggs Group team, responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on suitable corrective action.
  • Monitoring machine health through oil samples and diagnostic reports.
  • Supporting the call centre team with technical and onsite feedback.
  • Covering relevant field service control during annual leave.
  • Advising on machine application and offering suitable alternative options where applicable.
  • Carrying out machine inspections, managing damage and onsite rental processes.
  • Ensuring daily check processes are carried out and assisting in training, including toolbox talks.
  • Seeking out continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with the UP in-house Engineering team.
  • Promoting company vision, values, and a positive safety philosophy.
Qualifications
  • Experience dealing with customer concerns/complaints to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Experience of plant machinery at a technical level, including relevant applications in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship building at all levels, including complaint resolution.
  • Extensive commercial awareness with a full understanding of P&L control and balance sheet governance.
  • Computer literacy with good written and report‑writing abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple OEM brands, encompassing Core Quarry and ancillary products.
