A leading higher education institution is seeking an experienced administrative support professional for its Student Counselling Service. The role involves managing clinical appointment allocations and providing a first point of contact for student enquiries. The Counselling Service is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide excellent administrative support to the Student Counselling Service.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a small administrative team providing customer-focused support to a busy team of counsellors and psychotherapists to students. Daily tasks include allocating and managing clinical appointments; being first point of contact for all queries and responding to enquiries from students seeking counselling in a timely and sensitive manner. Tasks are rotated on a daily basis so post-holders need to have knowledge and ability to work in all team activities.
The post is full-time (35 hours per week) and you would be expected to work 5 days per week, at least 3 days on campus.
The University Counselling Service is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
