A health service provider in Cottingham is seeking an Administrator to support clinicians in delivering excellent patient care. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication and flexibility while managing varied tasks. Experience in administration is beneficial, but a positive attitude and commitment to healthcare are essential. This role is vital to maintaining efficiency within the healthcare environment, ensuring accurate and timely support for the clinical team.
As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our services. You'll need to communicate effectively at all levels, work flexibly, and be able to prioritise your workload.
While previous clerical or administration experience is desirable, we are first and foremost interested in individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for working in healthcare. If you are committed, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a team that values every member, we want to hear from you.
The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Made up of two Trusts – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) – our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world‑class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital for NLAG, and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.
As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas – biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Partnership and our community.
We will be holding face‑to‑face recruitment days on 23rd January 2026 and 24th January 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and abilities against the person specification. Note attendance will be required between the hours of 09.00‑13.30 on the day.
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As an Administrator you will be involved in the end‑to‑end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
