Regents Park Healthcare are looking for a highly professional, comprehensive, effective and efficient Administrator to support the senior managers, clinical staff and patients at our Cambridge Heart Clinic.
The successful candidate will have minimum 2 years administration experience within NHS or other healthcare setting, high levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, calmness under pressure and an outgoing and friendly attitude. The candidate will be highly literate, with exceptional attention to detail, strong IT skills and furthermore, will be able to effectively prioritise numerous tasks to achieve tight deadlines.

HOURS
We can consider both part-time and full-time hours.
Core hours 37.5hrs/week normally, 09:00 17:00 Monday to Friday; however, flexibility may be required to support our services with occasional evening or Saturday working to support clinics. These would be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
SALARY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
To support and liaise with Clinical Lead and Nursing Teams within Cambridge Heart Clinic to provide a full, high-quality service, including all administrative duties for our patients journey;
To support the Patient Services Manager to manage patient complaints/concerns and Doctify reviews so that emails are sent out weekly and timelines are adhered to;
To deal with enquiries face to face, via telephone and email;
To provide a range of documents such as letters, spreadsheets or posters, using relevant software packages (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
To provide a front of house reception service, greeting patients and families and providing any required information as necessary.
To undertake all tasks in a confidential manner, as you may be dealing with sensitive patient or staff communication and correspondence;
To be able to prioritise your own workload and recognise needs whilst prioritising these according to urgency amongst Senior Management Team;
To liaise with patients, relatives, general practitioners, community services, consultant medical staff from both Cambridge Heart Clinic (host hospital Cambridge University Hospitals) and other hospitals personnel in a pleasant and efficient manner;
To work flexibly and provide cover for colleagues across the service as required, including covering receptionist duties in the clinic itself.
To assist with reasonable management requests that may fall into the remit of Administrator that are not listed above.
