Overview

If you are looking for an administrator role where you are valued and want to be part of a supportive team, this is the role for you. You will provide a quality, comprehensive administrative, secretarial and organisational service supporting multi‑disciplinary teams and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Word‑processing correspondence, reports, agendas and other documents, producing presentations using Microsoft Office by copy‑typing or digital dictation.
  • Organising and preparing meetings, taking, transcribing and distributing minutes.
  • Prioritising your own workload to ensure deadlines are met and urgent work is accommodated.
  • Providing a strictly confidential full administrative service using electronic communication, computers and databases.
  • Maintaining total discretion at all times when working with the team and outside agencies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a health or care setting.
  • Excellent time‑management and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to sensitive information and support patients and their families.
  • Strong organisational skills and the capacity to work independently while handling multiple priorities.
Employment Conditions
  • Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation; a pay supplement will be applied if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
  • All new starters will commence on a fixed start date each month in line with the Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme, which offers up to 3 weeks of training.
  • Planned shortlisting week commencing 22nd December.
