Job summary

The Team:

This role is within CYMHS/ H2H kids (Medicare Mental Health kids hub)

The Role:

As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:

  • Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team including supervision of administrative staff and the coordination of administrative processes.
  • Provides high level day to day administrative support services to CAMHS.
You will need to:
  • Provide high level quality administrative and reception support to CYMHS including undertaking special projects at the direction of the Clinical Lead/CNC H2HK - CYMHS.
  • Undertake the coordination and supervision of administrative staff, including undertaking leave management, training of staff in new processes, the orientation of new or casual administrative staff and the ongoing support of existing administrative staff.
  • Manage and coordinate the administrative support systems for the efficient and effective operation of CYMHS.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 26 June 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:

$73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
