Role Summary

Admin Assistant at Warwickshire Justice Centre (CV11 4WX). Office based, hourly rate £12.36 per hour, 37hrs per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Temporary 6‑month contract with extension pending performance and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage court administration: prepare, update, distribute, track and file documents, bundles, records and databases (paper and electronic).
  • Support judiciary and court staff by collecting and delivering files, bundles and hearing lists.
  • Handle correspondence: audio/copy typing, standard letters, forms, acknowledgements, court orders and routine drafting.
  • Process post: open, sort, distribute, collect and dispatch mail.
  • Maintain court resources including the Court Library, e‑transcripts and records.
  • Perform data entry, result recording, accuracy checks and basic financial tasks (e.g. jury payments, petty cash).
  • Monitor and manage office stock, stationery and supplies.
  • Operate office and court equipment (computers, scanners, photocopiers, telephones, recording equipment).
  • Answer telephone enquiries and relay messages.
  • Arrange meetings, hearings and travel using electronic diaries.
  • Support court operations: prepare rooms, receive court users, provide usher cover when required.
