Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Administration Assistant to support a well-established wholesale business in Erith. In this role, you will perform various administrative duties, including managing documentation, liaising with suppliers, and handling inquiries. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, confidence in communication, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This position offers full training and is office-based with a working schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Premier Recruitment Group is pleased to be partnering with a well-established wholesale business based in Erith to support with the hire of an Administration Assistant to support the Buying department . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a busy office environment, with full training provided.

The Role

You’ll be supporting the team with a range of administrative and office-based tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of information, documentation, and communication across the business. This role would suit someone organised, proactive, and confident using Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Updating internal systems with delivery information
  • Expediting stock and order updates
  • Amending cost prices in line with metal fluctuations
  • Liaising with suppliers and global offices
  • Handling enquiries from Sales and Buying Teams
  • Raising purchase orders and checking confirmations
  • Supporting shipping processes and documentation
  • General office duties including data entry and answering calls
What We're Looking For
  • Administrator with strong organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office
