Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to provide support to the Community Childrens Nursing Team based at Kings Court 1, Worcester.

This post is a minimum of 30 hours per week to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be used to working to processes to complete tasks by deadlines and always have the best interests of the patient at the centre of everything you do.

Your varied role will be to provide administrative and telephone support to the department including general office duties i.e. typing, data inputting, appointment requests, coordination and maintenance of filing systems.

Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.

Person Specification

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of office procedures Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality.

  • Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information.

Qualifications

  • Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject
  • Or
  • Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post.
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.

Experience
