Admin Assistant – Independent School – Bournemouth

Location: Bournemouth • Start Date: ASAP • Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible) • Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm • Duration: Until Half Term (with potential for extension) • Salary: £13.96 - £15 per hour

A well-regarded independent school in Bournemouth is seeking a reliable and organised Admin Assistant to join their front office team. This is a temporary role to cover until Half Term, with the possibility of extension. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, starting immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to staff, students, and visitors
  • Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle enquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry and filing
  • Support daily school operations including attendance, scheduling, and communications
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies as needed
