Overview

New Opportunity as an Administrator based in Sure Start, Newry. Sure Start is a community-based programme that supports families with children under 4 years old. The service aims to give every child the best possible start in life by providing early learning opportunities, health support, and family services. Sure Start Newry offers a welcoming, supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to make a positive impact in the local community. This is a temporary role, initially for 3 months. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday with an hourly rate of £12.50.

Responsibilities

The main duties of this role will be to provide clerical and administrative support to the team, handle enquiries from staff, external agencies, and the public, and manage correspondence to ensure smooth communication. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, carrying out data entry, and producing documents and reports. In addition, you will perform reception duties, maintain filing systems, and work closely with colleagues to support effective team operations in a busy and supportive office environment.

Qualifications
  • 5 GCSE’s (A-C Grade including English & Maths)
  • 1 years administrative / clerical experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel or equivalent.
