Job description

MPA Recruitment are proud to announce that we have been awarded first place supplier to the NHS for Administration and Clerical roles within all the trust settings in NI, these include all hospitals, day centres, residential settings and many more. We are currently seeking experienced Administrative Officers to provide essential clerical and administrative support in a busy healthcare environment. You will assist with the smooth running of the office, supporting clinical and managerial teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Answer and manage phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both electronic and manual.
  • Input and update data on computer systems, including patient or departmental databases.
  • Type letters, reports, and other correspondence as required.
  • Arrange appointments, schedule meetings, and manage room bookings.
  • Assist with the preparation and collation of reports and statistics.
  • Provide cross-cover for other administrative staff as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4 GCSEs at Grades A–C (including English) or equivalent qualification
  • 1 year of administrative experience
