A small flexible business in Bristol is seeking an Admin Assistant to support transcription work for people with disabilities. This role includes managing office tasks, handling reception duties, and editing documents. Candidates must have strong computing skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. The position offers 25-37.5 hours of work per week and is office-based.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small flexible business, undertaking meaningful and rewarding work. We transcribe documents into alternative formats for people with disabilities (including Braille, Large Print and Audio). We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team. Your role will be to support the transcription work and help with the smooth running of the office. Duties will include reception, dispatching orders and editing documents. You will need a strong background in using computers, as you will need to learn new programs quickly.
Hours: 25 - 37.5 hours/week over 5 days, core office hours (this is an office position, work-from-home is not available for this role).
6 months initial term, further work dependent on funding extension.
