Job Title: Additional Learning Support Tutor

Location: Home based - must be flexible with national travel to meet learner needs

Salary: £30,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties

• To plan and deliver engaging and motivationalsupport sessions for Apprentices with additional learning needs or barriers to learning.
• Ensuring appropriate interventions, adjustments and resources are in place and monitored.
• Work in partnership with the delivery team and employers, to ensure learners are progressing as needed and any reasonable adjustments are identified and actioned.
• Delivery of support, standardisation and drop-in sessions in conjunction with the ALN manager.
• Ensure that all paperwork relating to learner progress is logged compliantly in relation to ALS funding.

Criteria

• Must have demonstrable experience of working with individuals aged 16+, who possess additional learning needs; ideally within an Apprenticeship or Education setting.
• Ideally hold a SEND qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel across England as needed.
