A leading NHS Trust in England is seeking a motivated Band 5 acute paediatric speech and language therapist to join their dynamic team. This 12-month contract involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, managing a varied caseload of children with communication difficulties. Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is a large 371 bedded tertiary Children’s Hospital that provides regional and supra-regional services to include most clinical paediatric specialties.
Due to maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable Band 5 acute paediatric speech and language therapist (SLT) to join our dynamic paediatric team on a 12 month contract.
You will contribute to ensuring continuity of care and service delivery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your skills and expertise. You will work within our acute team and have a delegated and supported caseload of children with a wide range of communication difficulties. You will form part of an MDT providing holistic care to patients across wards and specialist outpatient clinics. Our acute paediatric SLT team will support your development allocating a dedicated clinical supervisor.
