A healthcare consultancy is inviting applications for Staff Nurses to join an Acute Medical Inpatient Ward team in Guernsey. The role involves treating a variety of acute medical conditions in a busy environment. Applicants must be registered nurses with experience in such settings. The position offers a competitive salary with relocation benefits, including initial accommodation support and a relocation payment.
Applications are invited from suitably-experienced Staff Nurses to join our client's busy Acute Medical Inpatient Ward team at the major health facility on the Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. The Ward is one of two acute inpatient wards and treats a wide variety of Acute Medical conditions, and is supported by a 10-bedded Level 3 Critical Care Unit and a dedicated Medical Rehabilitation Ward.
The current Band 5 salary range is £38,744 to £49,970 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements: 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.
Relocation and accommodation benefits: a relocation payment of £5,000; three months initial free accommodation; on-site Staff Accommodation or a generous allowance for private rental accommodation. A flat rate 20% income tax; No Council tax or VAT.

Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC. A minimum of one year post-registration experience in an Acute Medical Ward setting.
