Overview

Actuarial Analyst - (Re) Insurance. Can you bring both actuarial experience and (re)insurance knowledge from within the London Market to a new exciting role here at Aon? Are you interested in working in specialty classes of business to include Marine, Property and Aviation? If so, then we'd love to hear from you in connection with this brand new, hybrid working, role based from our flagship London office.

What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your responsibilities will include:

  • Data preparation
  • Reinsurance pricing and analysis
  • Actuarial model building and testing
  • Presentation of results and advice to clients and brokers
  • Actuarial research and development
  • Training junior team members
  • Promotion of actuarial expertise internally
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment with colleagues and client stakeholders
  • Demonstrating commitment to personal & team development
  • Building relationships with clients and markets
  • Identifying opportunities to work more efficiently and take on additional responsibility
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

There will be a broad range of projects to work upon from inception to delivery and as a result you'll have engagement with other colleagues and exposure to clients and the wider firm.
