As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. You will be responsible for updating the home's social media platforms, creating community links, and devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. They will be responsible for creating tailored activities programmes that celebrate life and focus on the residents' wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. The role requires strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, infectious enthusiasm, and a creative approach to inspire residents and staff to participate in activities both within the home and in the local community.

Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
