Job description

The role of an Activities Co-Ordinator at Aria Healthcare's 71-bedded Nursing, Dementia and Residential care Home in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex is to coordinate and deliver a range of activities and programs that promote the health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life for the residents. The role requires a person with strong interpersonal and preparation skills to ensure each resident is making the most of every day.

Main duties of the job

As an Activities Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for the residents. This includes coordinating group activities, one-on-one sessions, outings, and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the residents. You will work closely with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of each resident, and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, evaluating the effectiveness of the programs, and continuously improving the activity offerings.
