Hours: Bank Shifts

Working alongside our Head of Activities, you'll help plan and deliver a full calendar of meaningful activities - from craft sessions and music afternoons to gentle exercise, reminiscence therapy and one-to-one chats over a cuppa. Whether it's a big, themed event or a small personal moment, you'll help ensure every day is worth looking forward to. You'll also help organise trips out, liaise with local entertainers and visiting animals, and bring fresh ideas to keep things fun, inclusive and person-centred.

What you'll be doing
  • Helping deliver a creative and engaging activities programme
  • Supporting both group events and 1:1 sessions based on individual interests and abilities
  • Building positive relationships with residents and getting to know their likes and dislikes
  • Encouraging participation and promoting independence wherever possible
  • Taking photos of events for families, newsletters and social media updates
  • Supporting with social media content and liaising with the marketing team
  • Reaching out to local performers, volunteers and organisations to enhance the activity schedule
  • Working flexibly as part of the wider team, with availability to work some weekends
  • A friendly, positive and supportive approach
  • Creativity and confidence in delivering a wide range of engaging sessions
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Organisational skills and a proactive attitude
  • Basic IT knowledge and the ability to use systems and upload content/photos
  • A real passion for making life joyful and meaningful for others
