We are currently looking to recruit an Acoustics Consultant to work near Walton on Thames for a long established noise and vibration specialist. Our client offers a unique set where you can find the full range of acoustic consultancy design and reporting services under one roof! - with expertise in environmental planning, building design and mechanical installation and solutions‑based engineering, you'll have the options to develop your skillset in line with your interests and strengths.

You need to be degree qualified, associate or full membership of the Institute of Acoustics and have at least 1 year working experience in Acoustics.

Duties will include:

  • Undertaking noise and vibration surveys, acoustics and noise impact assessments
  • Supporting junior staff
  • Writing technical reports
  • Using noise modelling software to predict noise from complex environments
  • Project management

Our client is seeking a creative and talented individual, who has excellent communication skills and is able to connect with a wide range of people. You need to have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and have a good knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidelines affecting acoustics, noise and vibration.
