Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Up to £13 per hour
Full-time | Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temp to perm basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident communicating with both customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up new supplier and customer accounts
  • Carry out credit assessments and set credit limits
  • Process purchase invoices and manual sales/purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Arrange invoice approvals and support payment runs (sterling and foreign)
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage customer queries and support debt collection
  • Provide reporting and analysis on overdue accounts and payment patterns
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding unmatched invoices
  • Support month-end processes and assist with audit/statutory duties
  • Handle general administrative tasks as required
