Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Dundee

Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for precision and teamwork? We are a leading name in textile innovation, and are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at our Dundee headquarters.

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in our busy finance department, supporting all areas of the business. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks—from processing invoices and reconciling accounts to handling international payments and responding to customer queries. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love ticking off a well-organised to-do list, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices
  • Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly
  • Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment
  • Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS (including international)
  • Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Handle expense claims and agent commission payments
  • Respond to finance-related queries via email and phone
  • Assist with month-end reporting and general filing
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role
