Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for processing monies in and out of our client accounts in a high volume transactional finance environment, ensuring funds are accurately posted, allocate and reconciled in compliance with company policy and Solicitors Accounts Rules.

  • Processing numerous financial transactions.
  • Posting payments/receipts and transfers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Setting up Cheques, BACS and TT payments.
  • Allocating funds received into the bank Account.
  • Use of online banking for electronic payments.
  • Ensuring that all client account payments are compliant with company policy.
  • Dealing with fee earner queries and helping to resolve issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
What you will bring to the role
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities requiring excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High standards of attention to detail.
  • Ability to process in high volumes.
  • Computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft applications – Excel, Outlook and Word. Familiarity with Pivot tables and Look-ups is a bonus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships as part of a busy, fast paced team and to work on your own initiative.
  • Eager to learn the specifics of the role and the systems we use.
  • Good organisational/time management skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
