Overview

AMC TRAINING & CONSULTANCY LTD – to support the finance function in delivering accurate and timely financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day accounting processes and contributing to effective financial management of the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Process purchase and sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system.
  • Record and process staff expenses and company payments.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding billing, statements, and payment queries.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain timesheets, overtime records, and related documentation.
  • Support compliance with statutory payroll requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records in line with company policies.
  • Update and reconcile entries in accounting systems.
  • Prepare basic financial reports for management, such as aged creditors/debtors and expense summaries.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Clear and professional communication skills for liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures.
  • Experience within training, education, or service industries.
Further Information

Working hours: Up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/reduced hours may be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
