Accounts Administrator – Ivybridge | £27,000 – £29,000 (DOE) | Temp to Perm

Pertemps are proud to be working on behalf of our client, a family-feel, well-run business based in Ivybridge, to recruit an Accounts Administrator. This is a temporary role initially, with the view to becoming permanent for the right person.

What’s on offer
  • Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 38.5 per week (flexible start times from 7:00am onwards)
  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • Free on-site parking
The role

The Accounts Administrator will play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly. Working within an industrial environment, duties will include:

  • Managing Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Posting and coding invoices
  • Maintaining the nominal ledger
  • Confidently using Excel and accounting systems
The ideal candidate
  • Previous accounts administration experience is essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident user of Excel and finance systems
  • Ideally a driver, due to location not being easily accessible by public transport
