Job summary

A leading global entertainment company is seeking an entry-level position in their accounting department. The role involves data entry, invoicing, and reconciliation tasks. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Excel is preferred but not necessary. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Entry of cash and wire collection data into WestEnd (licensing system) and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Generate marketing recharge invoices
  • Cash and Barclaycard expenses processing (in association with HR)
  • Periodic generation output and distribution of various data summaries
  • Track and notify appropriate departments of outstanding incoming wires or payments
  • Assist in resolution of any data conflicts identified
  • Perform data maintenance and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Complete monthly interface from contract management system to Dynamics general ledger and reconcile data in the two systems;
  • Prepare month end and customer account reconciliation
  • Maintain general filing system for all cash receipts
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepayments and overhead accruals
Qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible work style : able to adjust while ensuring routine tasks are not left behind
  • Takes responsibility for assigned tasks shows initiative to suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Experience in a data entry environment preferred but not required
  • Experience with general accounting software preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and / or WestEnd (licensing management software) preferred but not required
  • Strong computer skills required including solid working knowledge of spreadsheet programs (i.e. "MS Excel")
