Our client, a well-established business in Blackburn, is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their small niche business. The role will involve high volume invoicing for which experience is required. Ideally a car owner/driver is preferred due to the location on the outskirts of town.

Salary: £23k - £26k per annum plus Free Parking & Pension.

Responsibilities
  • High volume invoicing – matching, batching and coding of invoices, ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations.
  • Customer and supplier query management.
  • Accurate reconciliation of the supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Accurate data input into the in-house system.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider finance team.
  • Build positive relationships with your suppliers.

The accounts team consists of 5 people and is a small friendly, motivated team. The role requires a team player who can demonstrate a strong work ethic with great communication skills.

This is a well-established business that has a strong reputation and local presence. Good attention to detail is required as well as a confident and concise telephone manner and strong IT skills.
