A fast-growing Nutraceutical and Cosmetic firm in the UK is seeking a strategic account manager to foster partnerships and drive sales growth within the ophthalmology and healthcare sectors. Overview

Our client is a fast-growing Nutraceutical and Cosmetic business based out of Ireland with export markets in the UK and several other European markets. They are seeking an individual who understands their purpose, admires and lives their values and would contribute to their culture. The role focuses on introducing and nurturing fresh business openings in distribution and partnerships, collaborating with a small high-performance team to propel new business opportunities throughout the organisation. A background in sales and marketing within the healthcare sector is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Management: Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across major pharmacy chains, ophthalmology, and relevant healthcare providers; develop and implement tailored account strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and market share growth; negotiate annual contracts, terms, and commercial agreements with national accounts.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities; monitor performance metrics, sales data, and KPIs to track progress and refine approaches.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with marketing, finance, supply chain, and sales to implement account plans; collaborate with medical and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and accurate product information; communicate feedback from key accounts to inform product development and strategy.
  • Sales Growth & Business Development: Identify opportunities within existing accounts and proactively target new strategic partners; execute product launches, promotions, and campaigns; represent the company at industry events to identify partnerships; meet/exceed sales targets.
