Job description
Summary

Position: Intern, Accounting. Reporting Line: Director for Corporate Accounting. Role Location: London; Office-based.

Wage

Competitive wage offered up to £28,000 per annum.

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Training provider: BPP University Limited. Course: Accountancy or Taxation Professional (Level 7). You will also undertake the ACCA professional qualification.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed. 38 hours a week.

Start Date

Monday 2 February 2026.

Duration

3 years 3 months.

Work Locations

10 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DH.

What You'll Do at Work
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
  • Help prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation for audits.
  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes – including tracking, chasing and collections.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial files and documentation.
  • Participate in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.
