Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a well established accountancy practice based in Belfast as they seek to appoint an experienced accountant to their busy team. This position will focus primarily on accounting, however will incorporate audit & tax responsibilities as well. This is a fantastic role for an accountancy practice professional who is keen to secure a mixed role within a supportive environment & working across a local and diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Working within the dynamic team, you will be involved across the following areas:

• Overseeing a portfolio clients tailored to your interests & experienced, ensuring a premium accounting service is delivered.
• Management & statutory accounting.
• Advising clients on a range of tax issues – both corporate & personal tax work.
• Ensuring excellent client relationships are maintained & developed.
• Overseeing junior members of the team.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is open to those currently working within an Assistant Manager or Manager level within an accountancy practice. Preferably you will be already working in a mixed role, but those coming from core audit/accounting/tax roles will also be considered and full support will be provided. The successful applicant must also possess excellent communication & organisational skills. A relevant accountancy qualification is also essential for this role (preferably ACA or ACCA).
