Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage overhead costs and labour rates for an Aerospace client in Crawley. The role requires generating and updating financial reports and collaborating with stakeholders both on-site and remotely. Candidates should have relevant accounting experience, ERP familiarity, and Excel proficiency. This 12-month contract is inside IR35, offering flexibility between on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have previous management/generalist accounting experience.
• Experience of working with overhead and labour costs preferred.
• Accounting qualification preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Excel including VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS.
• Previous financial reporting experience.
• Deadline focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage the Overhead costs of two UK Domains.
• Generate and manage the Labour rates of two UK Domains.
• Update company systems for actuals and forecasts related to costs and rates.
• Review Overheads costs and Labour rates with relevant Stakeholders.

Accountant Overheads and Labour Rates: Crawley - 12 month contract; Inside IR35; per day via umbrella

We currently have a requirement for a General / management accountant to support the generation and reporting overheads cost and Labour rates for an Aerospace sector client based in Crawley. The role will require the postholder to be based on site 3 days Monday-Wednesday, the rest of the week working from home.

Duties

• Generate and manage the Overhead costs of two UK Domains within the UK.
• Generate and manage the Labour rates of two UK Domains within the UK.
• Update the company systems for actuals and forecasts related to the generation and management of Overhead costs and Labour rates.
• Review the Overheads costs and Labour rates with their relevant Stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Candidates should have previous management /generalist accounting experience.
• Previous experience of working with overhead and labour costs would be preferred.
• Accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience of using ERP systems, ideally Oracle or similar systems.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, including VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS.
• Previous financial reporting experience.
• Deadline focused.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
