Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare all Branch figures for Financial Director
• Prepare outstanding Debtors for all Branches on a monthly basis
• Prepare Sales & Payments Distributions for Manufacturing
• Prepare and distribute WIP monthly schedules, follow up and field queries
• Prepare VAT Output in the first week of the month before closing of Accounts Payable
• Prepare and post all Manufacturing journals for month end
• Reconcile Accounts Oversees Creditors, Loan accounts, Debtors, Creditors and Cashbook etc monthly
• Check Trial Balance balances
• Prepare, check & print Management Reports on a monthly basis
• Maintain and monitor monthly posting of Journals
• Produce monthly and annual stats and South African Reserve Bank returns when required
• Check outstanding Spares Department cash payments with Creditors (Debtors) Clerk monthly
• Balance Asset register to General Ledger and Audit Format on monthly basis
• Invoice Company
• Conclude Foreign Exchange with bank, update schedule on Excel spreadsheet and distribute weekly

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate with accountancy and/or mathematics as a passed subject
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Five or more years of related experience in manufacturing environment/FMCG
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to comply with standards, rules, regulations and systems of internal control; interpretation and evaluation of results, preparation of documentation, creation of and presentation of management reports.
