Account Specialist – Orders Management (Role)

An Account Specialist position has arisen within the Order Fulfilment Department. The Order Fulfilment team is responsible for the management of prime product orders for Caterpillar dealers within Europe, Africa and Middle East Region, from order entry through to shipment and delivery.

Based in Larne, Northern Ireland, the Account Specialist will manage Caterpillar prime product orders and related attachments received from assigned dealers on behalf of the Electric Power, Marine, Industrial and Oil & Gas business units within Power & Energy.

What you will do:
  • Provide operational support to Power & Energy dealers
  • Act as SME for other Account Specialists on tactical matters
  • Resolve complex dealer issues requiring advanced problem-solving
  • Manage commercial order processing and configuration requests
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting
  • Champion operational excellence within the team
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics from source to destination
  • Ensure timely product delivery and maintain strong dealer relationships
  • Deliver training and guidance to dealer network
  • Maintain compliance with export documentation and invoicing standards
  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Basic requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, International Studies, or related field
  • Experience: Background in one or more of the following areas:
    • Order Processing
    • Product Configuration
    • Export Documentation
    • International Shipping and Forwarding
    • International Trade
    • Customer Service

(In lieu of a degree, candidates should demonstrate significantly more relevant experience in these areas.)
