A global machinery and equipment company in Northern Ireland is seeking a seasoned project management professional to manage projects with significant R&D value. The role requires expertise in project management tools and processes, as well as participation in complex programs. Candidates must have a relevant degree, PMP certification, and strong leadership skills. This full-time position entails onsite work five days a week, offering a competitive salary range from $95,640 to $143,520 along with a comprehensive benefits package.

This position is the role of a seasoned project management professional. They will manage projects that have substantial R&D value, are moderate to complex in nature, and are managed with limited supervision. This position requires a thorough understanding in program and project management tools & processes. Ability to facilitate programs, leads chartering sessions, develops/validates network diagrams and lead integration & compression sessions. Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between other staff personnel to complete a larger, more complex program.
Assists Program Manager with the management of more complex projects within a corporate program.
Tracking progress according to program schedules and goals; developing solutions to program problems.
Participating in the preparations of proposals, plans, and program specifications.
Developing the project scope documents, project timetables and other documents that would be provided to Project Managers.
Monitoring the scheduling, budget, and performance of company programs.
Degree or equivalent experience desired
PMP Certification
Multi-business unit experience
Exceptional leadership and networking skills
Self-starter with strong technical and analytical skills

Office Location: IL–Peoria, Building LC Office. This position requires on-site presence five days a week.
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
