A leading Telecoms and IT Managed Service company based in Belfast is looking for an Account Manager to work with existing customers and provide a mix of sales and service. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in IT packages including Salesforce. This role offers a basic wage of £26,000 with an OTE of £35,000-£40,000, alongside a full benefits package.

VANRATH are currently recruiting an Account Manager for a leading Telecoms and IT Managed Service company at their Belfast headquarters.

The Account Manager will work with existing customers providing a mix of sales and service to each client.

Responsibilities
  • Be the point of contact for a group of owned accounts
  • Provide service to the clients as well as upselling
  • Provide feedback to the business on any customer issues or concerns related to our products and services.
  • Meet and report on productivity and performance KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and strive for overperformance.
Essential Criteria
  • 1-2+ years in sales (ideally account management)
  • Eagerness and willingness to develop knowledge of products and solutions
  • Proficiency experience using IT packages, ideally within Salesforce
  • Excellent Communication skills - verbal and written
  • A can-do attitude and an enthusiasm to approach challenges
  • Persuasiveness
  • Self motivated and demonstrates initiative
  • Resilience approach to gaining buy in from customers.
  • A warm negotiator
  • Candidates with a Business/ IT related degree/ qualification are highly desirable
Remuneration
  • £26,000 basic wage (negotiable) with £35,000-£40,000 OTE (commission is paid on ALL SALES for the first 3-6 months before then having a target to hit to qualify)
