Job summary

A leading global machinery manufacturer is seeking an Account Manager for its Exeter location. The successful candidate will establish and maintain customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and promote sales within the construction machinery sector. Candidates should have relevant qualifications, local market knowledge, and excellent communication skills. A driving license is required, and the role focuses on achieving sales targets through commercial negotiations and project support.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with local construction market and heavy machinery.
  • Degree in marketing, engineering, or related fields.
  • Skills in coordinating with leasing is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Visit end customers and maintain customer files in database.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Identify business opportunities and follow up on orders.
  • Promote sales and analyze competitor information.
  • Develop and implement sales plans.
  • Participate in negotiations for key projects.
  • Support financing and collection efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Visit end customers and companies, establish, maintain and update customer files in database system
  • Responsible for public relationship development, build and keep reliable relationship with clients
  • Spot business opportunities and follow up with the orders
  • Collect project information and promote sales, analyze competitor information
  • Develop sales plan and implementation plan together, complete sales targets
  • Participate in commercial negotiations for key projects to ensure that regional business objectives are met
  • Support financing and collection work
Qualifications
  • Familiar with local market, construction machinery knowledge on priority or Heavy machinery such as Excavator, Mobile Crane, Concrete, Tower Crane, Forklift, Foundation, Aerial Work Machinery, Mining etc.
  • Diploma and Bachelor Degree or above in marketing, Engineer major mechanical, electrical, international business, English or other relate filed.
  • Have skills for coordinate with leasing is preference
  • Have the sense of responsibility and good communication skills
  • Driving License : Driving license required
