Account Manager – Sampling & Events

Full Time, 12 months maternity cover – Salary: up to £38,000 per annum + bonus opportunity (OTE up to £41,800). Working: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend or evening work. Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week at Winnersh (RG41 5TP) with occasional visits to client offices in London and Leeds.

REL Field Marketing partners with some of the biggest retail names to deliver engaging sampling & events campaigns across the UK. We’re looking for a proactive and passionate Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of delivering standout client experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management – be the main point of contact for day‑to‑day queries, building strong relationships and ensuring briefs are delivered on time with quality checks.
  • Project Leadership – lead and oversee sampling, experiential activities and branded events from planning through to live delivery.
  • Data & Insight – pull and analyse reports to influence change and present results to clients and field managers.
  • Process Improvement – identify and implement new ways of working, ensuring seamless adoption by the field team.
  • Team Communication – present project overviews and performance results confidently at all levels.
  • Risk Management – develop weekly contingency plans to minimise disruption and ensure smooth operations.
  • Performance Reporting – collate weekend compliance data and activity overviews to share with clients.
  • Mentorship – manage and develop a small team, including conducting 1:1s and providing cover during periods of leave.
  • Collaboration – work closely with the field team, recruitment team, and systems team.
