A HealthTech organization in London is looking for an Account Executive to drive sales for clinical trials software solutions. This role focuses on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales and be comfortable engaging with clients across the UK, EU, and US. This position offers up to £56,000 base salary plus commission and promotes career progression into sales leadership.

We're seeking an ambitious Account Executive with proven experience selling clinical trials software solutions (CTMS, EDC, RTSM, eCOA, eConsent, etc.) into pharma, biotech, or CROs. This is a new business role where you'll be at the forefront of driving growth, owning outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and supporting deal progression.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling HealthTech organisation where you'll work closely with Sales Leads, contribute directly to revenue targets, and have a clear progression path into leadership.
Drive outbound lead generation into pharma, biotech, and CRO accounts.
Book and run discovery calls and product demos.
Progress opportunities through the pipeline, supporting on proposals and negotiations.
Collaborate with Sales Leads on strategy and closing.
Hit weekly activity targets (qualified opps, demos booked).
Represent the company at conferences and networking events.
Proven experience selling clinical trial software solutions.
Strong SaaS new business sales track record.
Confident prospector: cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach.
Tech-savvy; comfortable using Apple systems and sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Sales Navigator, etc.).
Ability to sell across UK, EU, and US markets.
Startup/scale-up experience highly desirable.
up to £56,000 base salary (depending on experience).
Commission scheme linked to team performance; additional commission if you close deals personally.
28 days annual leave (incl. statutory).
Hybrid working - typically 1 day per week in London office, with occasional travel to events.
Strong career progression into Sales Lead.
