Secondary Academic Mentor – Durham

Teaching Personnel is recruiting an Academic Mentor for Durham secondary schools and colleges. If you enjoy helping students feel more confident with their schoolwork, this role gives you the chance to guide small groups and individuals through important learning milestones.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting students in subjects like English, Maths, Science, History, Geography or other core areas. Guiding them through tricky concepts, exam preparation and study habits. Delivering short academic interventions, helping with assessment prep, supporting learning in class alongside teachers, encouraging good study routines, tracking progress with staff.
