Job summary

A leading logistics firm in Thornliebank is seeking Class 7.5T drivers to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt. You will work as part of a team, and the role can be ongoing or for odd weekend shifts. Ideal candidates must hold a valid 7.5T licence, have strong customer service skills, and maintain a good level of fitness. Excellent pay rates apply, with significant earnings potential for weekend work.

Benefits

Monday to Friday £13.50 per hour for the first 8 hours

£20.25 per hour after 8 hours

Saturday £20.25 per hour

Sunday £27.00 per hour

Ongoing position for the right candidate

Qualifications

• Class 7.5T HGV Driving Licence with 2 years experience required.
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card is essential.
• References and documented work history are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loading materials onto the vehicle.
• Delivering and unloading to various sites, including home delivery.
• Maintaining general upkeep of the vehicle.

Overview

The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for Class 7.5T drivers to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt. You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you. This role is ongoing or if you’re just looking for an odd weekend shift. Depots are based in the Glasgow Area and it is a 5 over 7 day role with working hours starting between 7am and 11am (paid minimum 8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Loading materials onto the vehicle
• Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery
• General upkeep of the vehicle
• This can be a physically demanding job; candidate must have a good level of fitness

Requirements

• Class 7.5T HGV Driving Licence with 2 years experience
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Documented work history
• References
• Excellent customer service skills — must have a good level of English
• Complete online training at home (Paid)
