Job summary

A leading construction firm in England is seeking a 5D Lead for its Infrastructure team at the Lower Thames Crossing. The role involves supporting the implementation of 5D processes and digital design controls. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have strong skills in stakeholder engagement and knowledge of BIM standards. This position promotes innovation and supports the development of team talent while fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment.

  • Awareness of stakeholder engagement.
  • Good knowledge of the strategic development and implementation of 5D processes.

We are looking for a 5D Lead to join our Infrastructure team in Lower Thames Crossing.

What you'll do:
  • Support 5D+ implementation and development at a framework / project level
  • Support implementation and management of digital design control procedures and systems
  • Take quantities off from 3D models and other digital deliverables to support commercial and design change management processes
  • Supporting innovation, EDI and the upskilling of the project team to deliver a next generation automated take-off procedures and continuous improvement.
  • Support the nurturing of new and existing talent
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or an appropriate professional qualification
  • Awareness and importance of stakeholder engagement
  • Good knowledge of the strategic development and implementation of 5D processes on a project and corporate level
  • Knowledge of at least one of the Method of Measurement standards and the UK BIM Framework: BS1192, PAS1192 and ISO 19650 suite of standards
