Job description

Job Description: Waste Management Driver at Stericycle

Starting Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $3000.00

Work Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), from 5 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage assigned routes to ensure timely, safe, and accurate waste pickup
  2. Transport waste using a 26' Box Truck (NonCDL) following all regulations
  3. Plan daily schedules based on customer needs, reviewing route sheets and manifests
  4. Follow routing software for daily routes
  5. Prepare and load trucks for service, ensuring supplies are adequate
  6. Unload trucks at customer sites, securing waste properly
  7. Ensure waste is packaged and prepared according to regulations before transport
  8. Provide excellent customer service and communicate issues to supervisors
  9. Secure waste, supplies, and equipment before operating the vehicle
  10. Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly, submitting to supervisors
  11. Maintain and complete DOT Driver Log as required
  12. Communicate route changes or issues to supervisors promptly
  13. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle maintenance
  14. Perform additional duties as needed
