A regulatory body in the UK is seeking a Regulatory Support Officer to join their East Midlands Regulated Industry team. This entry-level role involves maintaining information systems, supporting compliance activities, and communicating effectively with team members and customers. Ideal candidates should have A level education and strong organizational and IT skills, with a passion for making a difference in environmental regulation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join East Midlands Regulated Industry and be part of our Regulatory Support Officer team.
We regulate a range of permitted sites to ensure compliance with the Environmental Permitting Regulations. We also undertake pollution incident response and investigation.
You'll support and facilitate the delivery of a wide range of administrative and compliance activities and enable our regulatory teams to secure positive outcomes for people and the environment.

The East Midlands Regulated Industry Team is responsible for the regulation of a large number of sites and activities that require environmental permits. These permits cover a wide range of waste activities, industrial processes and places that use and dispose of radioactive substances.
You will be based at the Nottingham Trentside Office.
Ideally, you\'ll be educated to A level standard (or equivalent)
